Kenny Shedd Wall of Fame

The Shedd Is Always Open

That is the line we use when we yell out to one of our FAVORITE Raider players. Kenny Shedd, our man…

To bring you to a time many years ago when the Raiders were playing a game in Arizona and The Black Hole Fan Club was there to give complete and total support to the Silver and Black. It was then that Kenny and the now dubbed phrase first became a part of Black Hole/Shedd history. While in the lobby of Raider hotel the day of the game The entire Black Hole (Those who made the trip) gathered around the 2nd floor as the team was gearing up to head to the stadium. Shouts of “RRRRRaiders” were abound and the player loving every moment of it was Kenny Shedd. And once he noticed the phrase (“The Shedd is always open”) a Bond was formed forever. From that day on and every time we saw this man it just seemed to flow. He was and still is the friendliest of players we have had the pleasure to meet and his love for the fans reciprocates this.

But the play of this passionate player is what really impressed. A special teams standout Shedd would give up his body each and every time with a desire that stood out amongst his peers. This passion is what we admired most and this desire, giving the Raiders all he had was absolutely noticed by the fans.

We Love You Kenny Shedd..

Prior to the NFL he played college football at Northern Iowa and was named to the Missouri Valley Football Conference. Post NFL he graduated from the police academy and currently works in law enforcement. Kenny, You are the MAN…. And as we horror you, we are the ones who feel honored to be associated with someone as awesome as you.

Welcome to The Black Hole our Friend

You are now and always will be Family
